The short version: Fathom collects almost nothing about you, and sells none of it. Here's the longer version — it's still short.
Today Fathom is a plain reading site. There's no account, no login, and no email list yet — so there's very little to collect. We keep only aggregate, privacy-friendly counts of how many people read each dispatch. Those numbers are never tied to you as a person.
We don't build profiles, follow you around the web, or run advertising. When we add an email edition, the one thing we'll ask for is your address — and we'll update this page before we do.
We don't sell your data. We don't hand it to advertisers or data brokers. We don't track you from one site to the next. That isn't a phase — it's the point.
Because we hold so little, there's not much to opt out of. But if you ever want to know what we have on you, or ask us to delete it, get in touch and we'll sort it out.
