Definium's LSD pill clears third straight Phase 3 trial

Definium Therapeutics just ran its third successful late-stage trial this year for a pill built around LSD. The drug, called DT120, is a dissolvable tablet given as a single dose. In the newest trial, anxiety patients' symptoms dropped 5.1 points more than the placebo group's. That was measured after 12 weeks. That's a strong, statistically clear result, not a marginal one.

Generalized anxiety disorder means constant, hard-to-control worry that gets in the way of daily life. DT120 already had one earlier positive trial in that same condition, plus another positive Phase 3 readout earlier this year. That's why the company calls this three wins in a row. Still, this is Definium's own reported data. It hasn't gone through independent peer review or publication yet, and outside scientists haven't picked it apart.
